I am a film & digital photographer. Some love the slowness & the distinct character of film photos, & so this is an option for you.
Upgrade + $150 for 12-15 Film Photos
*These images are separate to the digital photos included in your collection. I personally love the contrast of both film + digital together, & the different moods & tones they capture.

Nope! Your session is all about you being you. If you feel more comfortable pretending I’m not even there, then that’s our style for the day. Posing is great, but being in the moment is even better & that’s what I aim for. I shoot with lots of people who don’t love the limelight (I am also one of them), and the cure is to let go, laugh, and be present with your family.

They probably will! Don’t worry - it’s already factored in. We’re going to have fun, and maybe they’re going to run off, or pull funny faces (hopefully), but we’re trying to catch something authentic so maybe that’s cool. There’s time in each session to have a moment of pause or play, there’s freedom to play up a bit. Your photos are still going to be beautiful and be you! And if your kids’ crazy personalities come out then even better.

Don’t worry, so do I! I’m no fashionista, but here’s my biggest tip - be yourself! If it’s something you like and feel comfortable in then it’s gonna work. We’re going to have fun, there’ll be running, jumping, playing, maybe splashing, so the right outfit will let you do all that without constant adjustments and discomfort. If that doesn’t do it for you, just flick me a message and we can look at a few ideas - keeping it simple, neutral colours, etc etc.

Great question - let’s find what fits you. Is there a place that is special to you? Or even just a place that you really like? Or I can give you some suggestions of places I think are beautiful and would fit. I’ve lived on the Sunshine Coast for almost 20 years, and know a few spots. Some of my favourites are the coastline around Mudjimba & Point Cartwright, The Noosa Headlands, Mooloolah River National Park & The Glasshouse Mountains area.

Of course! For the ‘Lovers & Loved Ones’ Heartbeat Collection (60 minutes), there is no limit of combinations of your family (grandparents, siblings, siblings w/ kids, in-laws, etc etc). For the shorter ‘Moment’ collection I limit this to one family + grandparents. Just a heads up that the more people you have, the less I can focus on individual families.

Yep! Let’s chat. I work in Brisbane, and beyond. Although my family & couple portrait sessions are typically for the Sunshine Coast area, I’m not a tree and I can move. In cases of travel, there will likely be a travel fee, but just ask. We can talk about your idea and work something out.

Early mornings & late afternoons are best! It’s all about light, & that’s where we’ll find it. Sunrise & sunset produces some magical results, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t magic elsewhere - if specific times are important to you, let’s plan around that.
